What was done to your JK this week?
Did a few things this week....
Started off with installing Purejeep shackles on my mopar bumper:

Then I fabricated a hoist for my hardtop:

And after that took off my hardtop for the first time this season with my new hoist:

I crushed my steering stabilizer also, installing a Teraflex with relocation bracket. Barely a mark on my RK Tie Rod!
Took the windshield lights off, relocating them. Never been that big on them mounted there.
Got the CB speaker installed in the rollbar, the little 3X3 Radio Shack speaker was only $14.97, also got the adapter to run the CB into the AUX jack when needed.
Will post photos of the new light setup when the last part arrives tomorrow.
Please elaborate. What did you do, put a splitter out of the CB Output jack so you can add a jumper wire from CB to the Jee's AUX jack? That's an interesting idea for those times when you want to be able to hear the CB loudly. I used to do that with an FM modulator and it had it's advantages (ie, when out of the Jeep spotting someone you can still hear the chatter)

99% of the time I will want just the CB speaker in the rollbar, but for those times when passengers want to hear the CB, or I'm out of the vehicle, just plug in the patch cable in place of the CB speaker for output through the Jeep sound system.
My CB is mounted on the top center dash, so access to the socket is easy, most of the time the cable/adapter will be in the bottom of the glove box.
