Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Having just put 16x8x5BS ProComp wheels w/ 285x75R16 MTZ on the Jeep, the spare wheel bump stops on the tail gate were about 1.5" short of the tyre.

Common problem; the fix is to buy extended bump stops or???

What I did after much searching is drop in to the local hardwear store and buy two Extra Large black rubber door stops (the kind you screw into the skirting boards behind the door).

They are tapered and the narrowest end is just a tad bigger than the hole in the rear tail gate bump stop but it will fit with little effort and about 2.5”s long. Pushed them in about half way and let the tyre do the rest when I put the wheel lugs back on...

Now the bump stops work perfectly and it only cost me about $5.00.

Just thought I would share... my cheap as; budget fix...

I like how the plate attaches in front of the winch for those of us in 2 plate states. What bumper is that?

LOD Signature Series mid-width. The plate swings up and is spring loaded for access to the fairlead.

That is nice, I had been wondering what I was going to do with the front plate once I changed the bumper. This is a definite possibility. Only prob is if I get a winch it will have synth line and a aluminum fairlead. So, I may have come up with a different idea.

This is how it works. Let me know if you need the info on the manufacturer.
