comments? anyone pulling one of these?
You will have no issues. I would get superchips if you don't already have it. My 1700 pound pop up camper pulls just fine all things considered.

That why I recommended the superchips! Gonna give you more power and they have "tow" tune that I have yet to try out. It is a little slow because of the the wonderful motor we all have. I really couldn't complain because it does pretty good. The one thing is that the rpm's have to run higher as you make it up steep hills. I didnt have any issues when I went to the mountains but I have had problems in the past with the trans. over heating due to high and long rpm use. That would be the only thing I would say to watch out for.

If you use the "tow tune" from what ive read it will keep everything cooler than normal. So far I havent had any issues with the over heating while towing. I did over heat once while driving down the beach in 4-hi. You get the warning light, but before that you can definitly smell the trans over heating. I bought but have not yet installesd b&m trans cooler. They like $60 on amazon and a few good write ups on here how to install them. Pretty easy install if you need it. I would try the superchips with the tow tune and see how it goes. You would have to have the rpms around 3000 for a bit before you start to over heat.

I just got through using my new M116A2 on a trail cleanup and I was impressed at how well it did, I was following Joe from Teraflex and he went down a pretty steep part of a trail, but I made it.

I use this home built car carrier to tow my old '68 Jeep, or my 1964 Ford 4000 with a different vehicle:
