I like the look of a stock Jeep. Especially the 2dr rubicon. Too much lift and tires and you look like the redneck parked next to you in the dodge ram on 52" swampers and chrome everything.

I had my TJ perched on top of 35s with custom bumpers etc. Before I got rid of it I dropped it down on some 06 rubicon springs with 2" spacers and 31s on factory steel wheels. I enjoy flexing smaller tires out all over the place than just bouncing over obstacles on the big tires. Where I live 31s have plenty of clearance. At superlift in Hot springs AR I ran level 4s on 31" tires without a single problem.

I like the big jacked up rigs like camp crockers orange crush. But the classic Jeep styling is what I love. They do not have to have big tires to be very capable rigs but they do need smart mods and armor upgrades for me.

THe stock JKs look better than the stock TJs and YJs. Those models look a little dinky bone stock while the JKs will sit higher and come with better tire and wheels. I will pretend I like the stock JK look until I get my lift in

I think the two doors look fine stock as long as they have the 32's, especially the 2 door rubis. In fact in my opinion the best looking rig on this whole forum is someone who has a black 2 door rubi with a 2.5 bb and the stock wheels/tires with 1.25 spacers. The proportions look perfect. The four doors are just begging for 35's though. I don't like the way the look stock.

And as for capability, I have driven several jeeps over the years, (willys, yj, xj,) And my stock x with sra's will shame all of them. (except of course for the willys locked on 31's)

I love wheeling with modded jeeps when they can't believe what you are making it through, especially when you refuse to air down and disconnect your sway bar cuz you are just too lazy.

I will put it this way, I can go through almost anything I would ever want to in a bone stock x.

This is exactly why I have trouble spending big bucks on all the upgrades...not sure I would put them to good use. Maybe someday.

Default I like 'em all different ways

I like the stock 32's, Im not hardcore- 1 1/2'' spacers and 1 3/4 front boost to level it out and I'm happy

Jeeps are kind of like nads. You don't have to have huge ones to have fun and enjoy yourself. They're just kind of embarrasing if they are the same size now as they were when you got them. I think at least one mod should be mandatory for all Jeeps.

also like nads, the ones with the smallest have to compensate the most!

Are bumper replacements "basic" mods? I don't like a stinger bumper on a daily driver, but a basic bumper upgrade is nice. How about seat covers? CB antenna? Grab handles, Tuffy security add-ons, or a window storage roll? What about a 2" BB with stock-size tires? Flames?

I like Wranglers. Stock to wild, rusted or busted, lifted or not, anything but pink. Unless driven by Barbie.

Exactly what you said are what I consider basic mods. A bumper is a bit up there, but I would like one of those stubby bumpers. Seat covers, definitely, side steps, stereo system, grill inserts, etc. I guess to be honest, anything except the wheel and lifts. Don't get me wrong, I think the jeeps that are lifted with monster wheels look good, just not my thing.

I like the 2dr stock. The only mods I will make to mine are 0.75" spacers in the front, a 1" body lift and a set of 255/80R17 KM2's.

2008 Sahara Unlimited...I just completed a RC 2.5" lift and pushed the wheels out with 1.5" spacers, other than that...stock. I think it looks pretty good for only spending $300.

The taller/wider stance really improved the look without breaking the bank on mods.
