Photoshopped to hell. A lousy job too. The lines around the tent look kinda blurry to me.

This is being produced by adventure trailers and Flippac. It will be a hard top shell with the tent bed built in. they anounced last week that they were doing a production run of 10. and if they sell well there may be more produced. you access the bed by folding down one of the rear seats and will sleep 3 adults and 4 with kids. announced on expedition portal. I like the concept. and for the money you cna build a camper any way you choose.

Adventure trailers made the announcement last week. They are currently taking deposits on the first production run. It is a photoshop so people could have an idea of where they were going with this before throwing money at it. but it will have the option of either having glass windows in the sides, or some sort of a storage compartment they are working on. Having seen Adventure Trailers attention to detail on other items I think that the final product will be awesome. Now I just need to convince my wife that we "need" this.

I am in the same boat. I tried to convince the wife that we needed it. she told me if I bought it I would get to sleep in it. Forever. Women just don't understand a mans needs.

now picture this......
drive to the grand canyon, back up all the way, pop the top w/ your favorite lady friend...... YEZZIR
under the stars, hanging off the grand canyon.... worth 120k? depends on the broad :P
heres another link from car and driver, they tested it on a pretty hellish adventure.
http://www.caranddriver.com/features...oamer_-feature
I've only read page one so far, but there are 4 pages, good read.
***interesting snippet at the end of the article, which was very well written.
"Update 12/09: Owner Bill Swails tells us that EarthRoamer went into Chapter 7 bankruptcy but has emerged as "Xpedition Vehicle Service, LLC," a company that services and manufacturers EarthRoamers, whose trademarked name they've somehow kept. Both the Jeep- and F-350-based EarthRoamers are still being serviced and assembled for sale."

Adventure Trailers just released some better images that they are using for the design process. These are still a photo shop, but a better one than the previous.
Now I just need to talk my wife into it.
