$150 to 200 to line-x grill ?
I called up a local line-x authorized shop in long island NY, and was quoted $150 to $200 to have the grill sprayed. Does that sound over priced or what? I have read on other posts people paying anywhere from $50 to $75 for line-x. Anyone recommend any reasonably priced shops in NY.
Why not do it yourself? It's quite easy and should cost you no more than $20. Even if you are worried about messing up/getting paint on your hood or other parts, don't worry as the entire grill can be removed and placed on a table or an easily accessable table for you to prep and spray. I was able to remove my grill, give it a light sanding, and then set it up between 2 garbage cans with two 2x4's running accross to hold it up.
And to answer your question, yes - that is WAY over priced in my opinion.

That's extremely overpriced! But if you've got the money
Do it yourself and spend "what you saved" on other Jeep parts
I removed mine, sanded it, washed it, laid it out on cardboard and gave it a few coats of prime (probably not needed but had some laying around) then bed lined it. I got a sweet grill and a cool piece of cardboard.

I'm really looking to have it sprayed by a professional shop, I have seen a few grill's bedlined with rattle can or roll on and they didn't look to good. Funny thing is I was also going to get a quote from them to line-x the floor
All a matter of preference and opinion I guess...cause truth be told, my buddy paid $125 to get his done professionally and when I drove him to the shop to get it done since he took his grill off already, the guy who was gonna do it asked what shop did mine and I replied "the shop in my driveway". So, it looked the same to the "professional"
200-250 sounds right, all of the local shops around here charge a grill bedlining like they do for bull bars or grill guards. Its all in the prep, they set their bottom line price on projects such as grills. the DIY looks just as good if you take your time and costs significantly less
