I dunno what load of bullexhaust that parts guy was handing you, but i bought my locks at the stealership on 10/11/07 *looking at receipt for jeep now* oddly enough, it was the same day i drove it home. "go figure"

your "parts guy" is a bit, how shall we say it...

*mentally stunted*

gawd i hate being lied to. i would have a few words for that dealership. I am pretty sure i have the package out in the storage space in my jeep, i will go out in a bit and see if it is there. if it is i will take a picture of the bloody thing and post it here. then you can print it, take it to the dealership, and stuff it up that guys... uhm... "parts fiche"

HappyCurmudgeon, I figured he knows nothing about Jeeps as the day I picked up my gas door he said I needed to go to a body shop to have it installed because the Rubi has no holes and that I needed to get a welder to melt the welds that held the rock rails as I had bought a set of tubular steps as well...... ....at that point I should have figured out that he talks because he has a mouth.......anyway I ordered my set of lugs from Quadratec and hope to get them soon.....thanks for the reply...........

No problem, your welcome.

I REALLY hate it when some idjit lies to me.

If i go in some place for help and someone says they dont know, but they make every effort to find out, then i will likely revisit that place in the future. When i receive a speel of bull from someone who is trying to just snow me, i can usually smell it for what it is, and generally never walk back in the place again.

It absolutley amazes me that some parts weenie would try to snow a Jeep owner. generally speaking we are a bit more mechanically inclined, or at least knowledgable than your standard Honda Civic driver.

You know what my wife said to me...." he must be related to one of the owners of the dealership.... " and she may be right....

I believe so, as the one I ordered from Quadratec made for Jeeps (spare tire needs to be locked as well) .....most autoparts stores only have them for cars meaning (4) per set........

Yes, 5 locks & 1 key.

They aren't the same shape (obviously) as the regular acorns, and they do stick out some they are longer than regular lug nuts like all locks i have ever seen. They look... welll, they look like locks. Has anyone ever caught one on a rock?
