Even thought about stripping it down to some stock parts and leaving the rims/tires and coils and trading it in.... Duno :(

This is what I was thinking. Put it back to stock as best you can then trade if you're dead set on more power. That being said, I have an '11 2dr and It'd be hard for me to trade just for more power. I agree with the gearing, I think it'd make it feel like a different Jeep. Have plans for 4.88s when I move up in tire size.

lol...37's on stock gears?! re-gear it and accept that its a jeep on 37s.

A dealer offered me $24,300 on a trade for a newer JKUR ... What do you guys think ? I have 59k on it. 6 sped manual. Hard top + soft top. Poison spyder flares and rockers. Bumpers Crapload of stuff done to it bla bla.

well, just to update the thread lol.. i sold my 07, and bought the 2012 JKUR in Gecko that i wanted! had it shipped from oregon to nj.. freakin love it, and am looking forward to building this one!!!!

To each their own when it gets down to it its your Jeep do what you want but I never understood the more power thing in a jeep I have rocked the old military jeeps in the Tennessee Georgia mountains and I have a 79 CJ 7 and a 08 JK and have never had any problems as long as their gear correctly but I guess its all how you use it lol
