I actualy ordered an 07 and DC canceled the order in late may. It was built in july

 

Mine was a dealer locate and as indicated before the front bumber was bare. I was looking at my window sticker tonight and the "S" pacage contained fog lights and tow hooks.

Email off to the dealer - fingers crossed.

 

I just received the build/shipping notice from my dealer. it is an 08 Rubicon Unmilimted and it shows fog lights, tow hooks AND the floor mats as standard. Ordered it on 25 July, D1 status on 16 Aug, KZ status on 27 Aug and now on a train in Chicago.

OK.....seems there's a few packaged setups.... the one I ordered is the 24S NOT a 23S (which I'm not sure where that's coming from, there is a 23C which is a plain jane unit that doesn't have the fog lights or tow hooks)

So I talked with my dealer with the concerns about getting my vehicle in without fogs or hooks and this is what he had to say and show me. He pulls out the new 2008 order book(he just got it this last week) and goes directly to the 24S package and what's listed on it............fog lights and tow hooks in the package. He guarantees me that mine will show up with those two items on the vehicle.
I also talked to him about a 3.25 to 3.5 lift and still protect my warranty and he didn't see a problem with it as long as they installed the lift. He said once my vehicle comes in we can sit down with the manager and discuss the lift issue.

So it seems like I can relax and not worry about being shorted the fog lights or tow hooks....of course if it shows up without them.....someone is going to FIX the problem before it goes off the lot.

Oh he also said that mine should be coming up this week for production too, which is a good thing......cuz I just can't wait to take the top off, the doors off and do some cruzin' before it gets too cold around here.

 

I believe 24S is auto trans and 23S is manual - same features, just different trans.

 

thats correct. 14 days and ill let you know if i have fogs/hooks or not. :toung:

 

i received my build order today. Ordered on Juy 25, D1 status 16 Aug and KZ status 27 Aug. Currenty on a train coming home. Mine is the Rubicon Unimited with the 23R package which is manual. It also shows fog lights, tow hooks and mats as standard.

 

My 4dr X was built 8/7 , and the S pkg was $1395 on the sticker >>no fogs or hooks tho'

 

the 07 ijust got has the 23 package supposedly whats all entailed with this package?
