Default 08 Rubicon won't start

Just drove the Jeep 2 hr's before and now it won't start. Depressed the clutch, turned the key and got nothing. The interior lights and instrument panel are strong and there's no clicking like a dead battery. Any ideas? Thx, Mike

Also just for the heck of it try the other key, I have seen chips go bad in the smart keys.

A good idea anytime there is any problem is to take the negative battery cable off for a few minutes then put it back on, this basically reboots the computer. That way you can eliminate that out of the realm of possibilities.

X2 on this. This has happened to me a couple of times, and all I did was unhook the negative terminal for a minute and she started up.

sometimes my sentry key acts up and prevents my jeep from turning over. usually just pull the key out and reinsert and works fine..

had this happen to me also after the jeep sat there for 3 days just a click click , tried boosting it (btw have a optima blue top in there) and still no dice. went under here and banged on the starter a couple of times and she turned over.

now after this being my third time once with oem battery twice with my blue top it must be the starter that is the problem either bad contacts or bad wires but only cause the winch works , lights work
