1.5" or 2.5 Rock krawler
i am in the process of buying an 08 jk 2 door and was pretty much set on a Rock Krawler 2.5" flex kit, but then I was looking at other kits and found the 1.5" max travel kit. Im not looking for a lot of lift so either one will work for me, but which kit will perform better? I am looking to get the best ride I can get out of the Jeep and would like to have some extra travel because I tend to drive fast offroad. would the max travel be a better kit? I am planning on running 33's for now may step up to 35's later on

On the 2 door the 1.5" and 2.5" RK coils will give you about an inch taller than what the are advertised for. Also those coils are going to be progressive rates they'll have an awesome paired up with some quality shocks.

Not that fast, well not in a jeep anyway, I'm coming from a raptor where 100+ on our local beaches (away from people) is very normal. My off-roading with out traveling a long way is just beach with small dunes, and the dunes are actually off limits. I can't afford to do coilovers right now, but will be doing them in the future. I am going to get the jeep set up the way I want it and then start building a k5 blazer with long travel (~20") to go fast.

i made a pretty cool discovery yesterday, found out that a bunch of jeep stuff i was given about 6 months ago included most of a Rock Krawler lift! its minus the front trac bar, rear track bar bracket, and front extended brake lines. but that stuff can be bought for a lot cheaper than what the lift was originally going to cost so that means more mod money!
