Chrysler has said they thought they were leaving money on the table, and that people would pay more for a Wrangler, particularly the four door Wrangler. Prove them wrong, don't buy one.

I have to deal with Fiat through my real job. That is how they are-always afraid they may give something away-It will catch up to them-With that mentality-they can never be a leader-always looking over their shoulder.

Economics law, if you have a desirable product you can charge more for it.

For those of us that have one....just made our values increase. Used Market just went up! Sorry for those that were buying new. Our local dealership is having a bit of a fire sale on 2010. 2010s might be an option.....

I think Chrysler is playing it smart: they will make big profits from the people who walk in and say, "I want it fully loaded, all the bells and whistles, leather, matching hardtop, everything!" Those of us with a little more forethought can order the JK we want with only the options we need, and still get a decent deal. The base invoice price is only up $800 on a 2 door sport, and it comes standard with cloth seats and an interior that is much more expensive for them to make than the old one was. It's true that you can outfit a JK up to $40K now, but don't buy that one, let someone else fall for that trap.

Try pricing one in Canada then you won't feel so bad =P

Starting prices are within a couple grand, but most of our available options are twice the price!

But we can get the 32" tire package you guys can't lol

The prices are creeping up for sure. I just priced a barebones 2dr Rubicon and it was significantly more expensive than my loaded 2010 4dr hardtop automatic. No thanks.
