The thing is,....FIAT doesnt know how to make engines, Fiat is Italian, so they are car designer`s, not engineers. The VM motor is Italian too, but it has Mercedes from behind, that is a lot diferent cuz Germans and Japs, knows how to make reliable engines.

I have a CRD too, but i dont think i whould like to be on a Italian Vehicle when i am off-roading.

You are so correct about Italian engines. America still has to find out how poor Italian vehicle are, the rest of the world knows.

That's why Ferrari engines are so crappy and suck so bad!

I have an Italian Aprilia scooter that I rode from Florida to California and back and never missed a beat, I sold it and still have another one with 14,000 reliable miles.

Italians know so little about everything that they could buy a bankrupt Chrysler...

Because they needed Chrysler to easily enter the US market. It was a very cheap deal for them.

So you have owned a Ferrari. What type did you own and what kind of milage did you run on the car. What was you annual servicing cost to keep the Ferrari going.

Germany leads the world in engine technology.

If only Jeep would install the Grand Cherokee 3lt V6 diesel in the JK now that would be a great ride.

I am glad China never purchased Jeep

Nope, never owned a Ferrari, like I said, an Aprilia.

What Italian vehicles have you owned to state that they build poor vehicles?

Two Alfas and one Fiat

I have had full refund back on the Fiat and one Alfa. I told my wife if I ever look at buying another Italian car hit me in the head this will wake me up.

Ferrari would be one of the costliest cars to keep on the road.

Aprilia motors used to be built in Austria by Rotax. Unless things have changed, that may explain why your "Italian" motor runs so well...

The MASTER 500 engine is made by Piaggio making it a full blooded Italian.
