I got email today from Jeep "We received your order" (1st email out of 3)

What Do you guys and gals Think is going on with my 2012 jku sahara dozer 6,speed loaded, I ordered it sept 26 2011
it was in D status on the novmber 02. The dealer has no more infomation from jeep since then. I just want to know if this is normal for a jeep. I getting tired of waiting with out any updates on the progress of this one. There is another dealer in town that has a Artic package with 6 speed that is ready to go. but does not have the leather seats.

Take a good look at the order summary on www.jeep.com/vots; I checked mine this morning & noticed that my heated seats weren't listed - reached out to the dealer & found out it was accidentally left off the order - glad I caught it before they started the build...he says he'll have the order corrected...

 

Did you order Leather Seats? If so they automatically come with heated seats.

 

That was my assumption as well; last note from my dealer was that he can't get anyone @ Jeep to explain why it's not listed since it was on the order. Who knows. I just dropped him a note suggesting that if leather includes heated seats that may be why it's not listed separately.

 

If you go to the jeep site and build your Jeep you will clearly see in the explanation the inclusion of heated seats for both Leather Options.

You cannot get Leather Seats without them being heated. It is part of the package.

It will not list separately on the order as it's part of the package.

Alright its been about a month since I placed my order and I just got off the phone with the dealership and its got an estimated shipment date of 12-29-11 so hopefully I'll get it by mid Jan. They gave me the VIN as that is whats needed to track it on vots and I go to plug it in and now you can also use the VON..WTF? I was just there 2 days ago and that spot wasn't there...haha. I've had the VON the whole time. Well I plugged the number in and voila there I am scheduled for production with all 2 of my options (conectivity group and max tow..haha). So the hurry up and wait will hopefully be over in about a month I can't wait! Glad the holidays will keep me busy otherwise I'd be on there all the time and its kinda like watching grass grow....

 

My Jeep is getting built today!!!! Now the question is, will there be a truck waiting when it comes out to deliver to the dealer an hour away so that I can get it before Christmas? Odds are no, but I can hope.
