Do the 35's and no lift clear the pinch seam and rubi rails? I just took delivery tonight as well. Had to drop off the two door overnight as it was too late for my friend's shop to switch out some parts.

I assume no lift on 35's is fine (AEV 3.5" being done by Northridge Monday), but if not, please let me know if the sawzall needs to trim the pinch seam.

BTW, I'm doing interior mods now. WTF is the motorized noise that keeps coming from (presumably) the glove box/dash area? Sounds like big brother adjusting their camera angles on me a few minutes after I close a door.

P.S. Rubicons do come with 4 grab handles and 2 coat hanger handles... One for each of my European carry-alls. :-)

Congrats Hoovis!!! I know it's been a long wait for you. Time to enjoy it and make all your friends jealous. Looks like I'll be in your shoes in about three weeks.

Ordered - March 9th (3 days past the winter chill cutoff)
First email -March 13th

2 door Rubicon, winter chill, soft top, 6 speed, heated seats, power convenience, and connectivity.

1% under invoice and 17k for my 09 I paid 20k for.

So you're one of those lucky bastards who ordered Winter Chill before the cut-off, huh? I hate you.

Got my first email today.

Dear Customer,

Congratulations on your new Jeep® purchase! We received your order and thank you for choosing the Jeep brand. This is the first of three email updates designed to keep you informed as your vehicle moves through production.

We are currently in the process of building and delivering the parts required to assemble your vehicle in the plant. We will contact you next when production is scheduled for your new Jeep. At that point, you will receive a tracking number that allows you to identify and monitor your vehicle as it moves through the various stages of production:

Confirmation -> Production -> Frame -> Paint -> Trim -> Final inspection -> Shipment -> Delivery

We will contact you with a final email when your vehicle is in shipment. Please be patient as we work to provide you with a new Jeep built to your specifications. We sincerely appreciate your business.

Thank you,
The Jeep Brand Team

It's hard to be patient, but now starts your long wait. Congrats on your order.

35s barely clear the rock rails with no weight in the back, add a little and its gonna rub. My left front rubs the inside of the bumper but the right side seems fine. The pinch seam seems to clear no problem without a lift.
PS, don't do anything you don't want big brother to see lol!

HAHA it does seem like that. I think I've read this is something in the HVAC closing or opening, but could be remembering wrong.
