2012 Jeep order status

Man I ordered 2/25 and still no second email. I'm calling the number right now. Well I don't mind if it goes past eight weeks as long as I have it in time for Memorial Day weekend camping trip. I'll be miserable if I can't bring the Jeep, especially knowing it would be on its way. Should definitely be here by then though because that would be thirteen weeks. Wow... even though I can be patient, the wait is making me

I think that when you get a VIN number, you are in D. When you are scheduled for build you are in D1, and info should be up on insight. (Although all you would get at that time is when you went D1, and SOMETIMES an estimated ship date.)

i ordered on March 1. I dont have the numbers and stuff to track. I did get an email from teh dealer on the 14th saying it was "scheduled to be built." Have no idea what that means. i scheduled stuff out three months at a time. lol. apparently jeep does too, if this thread is to be trusted, and i think it is .

Similar to the post I just made, if you are scheduled to be built, you are in D1, and you definitely have a VIN. Get it from your dealer, and PM it to me, I can check insight for you to see if you have a ship date... (in all fairness, the dealer can to (they have software called dealerconnect which is even more usefull then insight... however many dealers don't care to check for their customers... sad )

Jeep is really trolling me... I was told a few days ago that the delivery estimate had changed to the 23rd and that my Jeep was unloaded from the rail on the 20th. I was super hopeful that I'd have my Jeep by now but it turns out on the 21st they stuck my Jeep in 'rail inventory' until they get more vehicles to fill up a transport truck. The lady at Jeep told me "delivering it by itself is just not economical for Jeep."
Why the hell am I paying $900 for delivery again?

Called 877-IAMJEEP This morning. They gave me the full VIN# said it was scheduled to be built as of Thursday 3/22. And she said the date the jeep should be unloaded from the rail car is April 12th. But she said that date could change.
Ordered: Thursday 3/15
D-1 Status: Thursday 3/22
Est. arrival on Rail: 4/12

Got the call from the dealer late today and they wait is is there!!!! Financing is in place so I hope we can make the 127 mile drive tomorrow to pick it up.

Well I call Jeep CS today and was told something I did not want to hear. The person I spoke with told me the last update was March 12th when it moved to D1 status. He told me I will not make my estimated ship date of March 27th and it will most likely be at least another month before my Jeep makes it to my dealer. I ordered Feb 11th. CS did not tell me this last week. I hope it is just that the guy I spoke with doesn't know what he is talking about. My dealer is going to contact his Jeep rep tomorrow to see what is going on. If this is the case, the wait of another month is going to kill me.
