Well everyone has good points. I talked with the guy for almost an hour and he just returned from detroit the week before and he said they were testing the new 3.6l motor. I told them they should just scrap all engine ideas and throw in the HEMI. As far the tech thing goes you are right I had to school him up on why my jeep is leaking and that my transmission was shot with only one oil change. So now I am jeepless for almost a week now.

That's just it....if they would just make a Hemi an option......that right there would make a lot of people happy.

Oh.......and I still can't understand why they can't make an efficient 4.0 that passes emissions and everything else. Let's see now......didn't we put a man on the moon?

x2...who really "leaks" info to people like us?!

If people spent as much time enjoying their JK as they do bitching about it, threads like this would not exist. Seriously, test drive your JK before you buy, research it, then decide and enjoy!

Well I was just stating what he told me. If it is true or not I dont have a clue and really dont care. The whole point of this forum is to share ideas and info in a respectful way. If you dont like what is posted go call and complain to your local congressman. I guess the truth will be here in 2012. If one else has any info on new mods for the 2012 jeeps please post it my jeep isnt going to last forever.

You were treated with respect....are you on your period or something that you react like this? This is also a forum where people also get tired of anyone ripping on one of their favorite passtimes...sharing usedful ideas is great...complaining about something you had total control over purchasing is not useful....i'm just sayin....

I am not complaining and not mad at all. I love my jeep even with all the problems I am having, it is in the shop as we speak for a new transmission with only 4700 miles on it. It also leaks all the time. All I was saying is that this thread was started to share info on future prospects of jeeps to come and you was talking about people complaining and not being happy with what they bought. Not one single person complained about there vehicle in general. It all good though man no hard feelings. Also my period stopped last week thanks for asking though.

the 4.0 got scraped becouse the 2 cylinders tward the fire wall would get the bildup of oil that didn't drain from the front 4 cylinders. It would pudle up and drain down the valve guide seals and then into the combustion chamber and cause the engine to burn oil failing emissions test. And melting the catts.
