My range rover did this all the time, and my 2012 JKU has yet to do it once in 5000 miles... I thought it was just the Brembo brakes on the range, but I guess not. The guy at the RR dealer said the rotars and pads get worn in one direction, and when in reverse you are "going against the grain". I wasn't sold on the answer, but he said it wasn't something to worry about.
