Default 2012 MPGs...???

Are you guys that traded up happy/er with the mpgs now?

Big difference? Little difference? No difference?

Or does just the better performance outweigh any mileage considerations....???

To put it plainly........are you new 2012 owners just happier than pigs in shit, and the better mpgs are just icing on the cake.......or not...???.......lol

Just curious....

I'm getting around 18 to 19 mpg realistically. Both highway and City.

several threads on this, but i'm very happy with 20 mpg highway, 15 around town stock rubi auto with 2" lift, no heavy stuff added. it is the icing on the cake with all the other positives the 2012 drive train has.

I got 15.6 on my last tank. I drive mostly on base, so it's a lot of stop and go. I have a 2012 sport with s pkg and 3.21 gears.

I get about 18 on 35s with bumpers and winch. rubi with 4.10. My interstate trips were about 15.3 until I added a MBRP cat back off road exhaust. the only trip i have made since the install I got 17.4. Same interstate trip, just better mpg. the interstate mpg is what si different for me. i was geting about the same on my daily commute in my 2010 with 35s, maybe just a touch less like 17.5 mpg. the performance gains are the big difference. i could not keep the jeep in Overdrive on the interstate at 75 mph. My 12 never leaves overdrive.

2012 JKU w/hardtop Auto, 4.10 gears and stock everything. Not toooooo concerned about mpg because I work from home and dont drive much. I only get 16.5 max and I drive really easy on the gas. Just drove through the mountains of western MD and the milage dropped to 15.5 as I was getting the 16.5 here in DE. I only do 55 - 60 on the highway. Not sure how people get 18-19. DE is flat. I just dont get it.

I love my JK! If i won the lottery tomorrow, I would just buy stuff for my JK. It would still be my DD. Did i mention I love my JK?
