well i was going to get my lift and 35s and regearing until the owner of the shop was tell me that he's cousin was work on the wrangler tech department for jeep anyways he was telling that the 2012 was coming with the new Pentastar V6 which it was not nothing new but he was also telling me that rubi's where coming stock with 35s better rears some type of lift stock to run 35s and other new stuff so now i been thinking about waiting just leaving my stock for now and just wait to trade it in

 

hmmm, sounds tempting.... but i'll just Mod it.

 

You will probably be able to get a nicer lift for less money than what may or may not come on the 2012.

 

There's also the Mayan calendar that says the world will end in 2012.

Like the factory hemi option, which faded away and has now turned into the pentastar, I guess? And the factory diesel option for US JK's? And the ...

Would be great if they actually followed through on something like that, but don't think I'd hold my breath waiting around for it to actually happen.

 

I second this. And thats in 2012. Its 2010 now. Thats pretty far away.

 

But if it is true then it would come out halfway through 2011 for the 2012 model year unless they delay it or don't produce it at all.

For the benefit of those of us who aren't quite as speedy as you young'uns (with me being 60), it would be most helpful if you threw in a couple pauses for breath--commas and periods are our friends.

If you're convinced you want to make buying decisions based on rumors, you might consider mods that can be moved over to your new 2012 Jeep--bumpers, wheels, etc. But, I agree with others: Work with the Jeep you wanted and bought to make it the Jeep you want even more.
