Troll maybe? I would never want to put 28's on a Jeep

his money, his choice. maybe he's got a 2wd drive jeep. what's the difference between him and probably 80% of jeepers who's tires never touch dirt.
can't someone just have a convertible SUV because its just that?
I love it when people post these kinds of questions. shows how close minded and opinionated this forum gets

Luckily I am a fellow armed forces member. So I can say WHATEVER I want without you making such an asinine comment.
If you put 28 wheels on it jeep it will make for a horrible ride. Not just because of the low profile tires, but because sitting on your dick while it is tucked between your legs hurts.
They are 22" wheels and 28" is the total diameter with the tire (measured with a tape measure). I ended up not getting them since I'm not really a fan of the big wheel skinny tire look on SUVs. I was only considering them because they were so cheap $800 for wheels and almost new tires(90% tread). Im moving in 2 months and my MTs r almost done, was planning on using the new rims and tires for making the drive from Louisiana to Washington and selling them when i made it to Washington State. Just was wondering if having a heavy wheel like that would damage anything on a jeep. After reading the comments about how much some 35" tires and wheels wieght I don't think the wheels and tires would do much to the jeep.
As for all the comments, no harm done people in the armed forces know pretty much from day 1 you got a drill SGT talking shit to you, and your closest friends in your unit are the ones that give you the most shit especially after a deployment.

Army HMMWVs are not as capable as jeeps when I was stationed in Germany my friend took his 2007 2 dr X with 33" MTs on it places where our HMMWVs got stuck and yes they do have A/C because it gets to 130 degrees out side in Iraq some times but I was a gunner on a MRAP when I was deployed so A/C didn't do anything for me.

Only certain models have armor on them that's why we called them Heavy Chevys while I was deployed. Our HMMWVs in garrison are soft top and cloth doors and don't even have skid plates on the bottom. They are cool looking though I would not mind buying a surplus one, but I definently like driving my Jeep better, never realized how much females love jeeps.
