Some 2007 2-door JKs were 2WD. I've sat in one that didn't have a t-case shifter. A lot of TJs were also 2WD--they're more popular in the southern U.S. where it doesn't ever snow. Not sure about YJs and CJs.

The 2007 2-door Wrangler was never offered in 2WD. Click the link below and go all the way down to the bottom to the towing capacities chart:

Also, I have never heard of a 2WD TJ or CJ. However I have been wrong before....once

beep4jeep is right. There never was a 2 door Wrangler in 2WD in 2007. Only the Unlimited was offered in 2WD.

I get about 17-18 or so on the highway. I really don't pay attention I try not to go over 60. And watch my acceleration and braking in town.

Ya know, maybe you guys are right... I know I sat in a JK at the dealership that didn't have a t-case shifter. It must have been a 4-door. The 2-door and 4-door JKs do look pretty similar on the inside.

I really love the two door, I have owned two cj7's a yj and a tj sport and just love the maneuvering of the smaller wheelbase. But we currently have a 4x4 xterra auto with a lift, roof rack, and 33's. She gets around 22-24 on the highway but just isn't dulling my desire to drive a jeep. I may have to get the four door now that we are used to the capacity of the xterra.

If you don't need to haul kids with it, get a 2-door and take out the back seat.
