Does anyone know if 4.10's will still be on the '08 Sahara's with Tow Pkg? I saw somewhere that only 3.73's will be available.

 

for 08 the 4.10 is only available on the rubicons. so youll be getting the 3.73s with the sahara tow.

 

I wonder if I can make the dealer put 4.10's in as that was a specific call out on my order form and they never informed me of the change?

 

I wasn't able to. I just ordered a JK Unlimited Sahara last week and along w/ 18" standard wheels they went down on to 3.73s w the tow package. .

 

I wonder why they did that?

 

I'm guessing to separate the Rubi's abilities more on paper.

 

I remember tried to do the close to a Rubi as possible thing by getting the D44 and 4.10 back in Feb. but the swaybar and locker was not avail at the time. I love my 4.10. Big help with towing! But as soon as I can save up enough money, I am putting in ARB air lockers and a quick disco kit. Can't always get what you want.

I got the 44/4.10's in mine.
I personally didn't want the Rubicon Sway Bar discos and the factory e lockers.........so I saved 7K. I plan on doing an Aussie Locker, and some JKS quicker discos.
