My 2010 with production date 05/21/2010 has the skid bar already.

Looks like I am "IN" Here is a pic of the skid with a build date of 5-07-10. Lucky me, I bought my 2010 1 week ago!

Anyone have a photo of where the lower cat is located on the 2010? Jeep supposedly moved the cat lower on the 2010's due to emissions requirements therefore moving it closer to the skid.

I've got an 09 and I get shit stuck between the tranny and skid all the time. After trail runs I'd smell the scent of burning leaves and mud for a couple days after the trip. Folks I wheel with have always said, "That's normal" and so I really never worried.. I wonder if we were wrong.

Look close, yours is different than the '10. Yours does not hang out beyond the bracket. Looks like a better design to me.

Umm... yep. Jeep is replacing the factory skid plate with a skid bar, which is what was transitioned to mid- model year.
