Question AC Vent in the back???

Hi,

Has anyone thought of adding ac vents for the backseat passengers? I think it should have come from the factory w/that option. Now I'm not the most mechanically inclined person here, but some of you guys are geniuses when it comes down to building & creating stuff. Has anyone thought of doing it before? Has anyone done it yet? If so what does it take to add the vents in the back?

Well that doesn' work all the time. The way the weather is around here in VA. Also, I have a hard top and I don't feel getting the jeep soaked just cus I left the top home.

To do it, you would have to lose functionality of a couple of your bottom heater vents, run on bi-level, and have some ugly hosing running along the floorboard. Or cut holes in the tub.
Either way, rear seat vents are luxury items, and as such, are not quite to the level of ubiquitousness as power windows and keyless entry. Next thing you'll hear is someone wanting heated cupholders or something.
Your Jeep does come with a built in cooler. Just fill the back cubby with ice and place your favorite soft drinks inside.
