I'd say that the snorkel really didn't effect the mpg's too much.. Maybe it went up .5-1mpg.. I was hoping for more, but that was it.. I also installed an aFe Pro Dry S air filter, and I'm using Superchips 87 octane tune.. As of tonight, I'm getting 15.7mpg.. The JK has 33's w/ stock suspension.. Hope that helps.. The install is easy, just follow the instructions, and the pictures we posted.. Good luck bud!!

Dont have the pre filter, just the ram air and I love it, fuel milage went up about .5 to 1 mpg, not enough to really notice, changes the intake sound ( better i think) and improves the look of the jk. instalation is easy, just make certain on your measurements before you cut ! and enjoy.

it is not a hard install at all. The worst part is the drilling and once you get past the emotional part of that you will be good to go

I have no sheetmetal, cutting, drilling experience what so-ever and i was able to do it without any issues in just around an hour, outside in the cold lol. Just make sure you lay a blanket down over the engine and fender flares for protection when drilling/cutting
I was probally even using the wrong rotary tool too
