Default Aluminum Bumpers/Tire Carriers

A couple of years back, one of my first questions on the Forum was whether anyone made a good all aluminium bumper (to cut down on weight). I just heard about the Aberle aluminium bumper/tire carrier. Anybody have any experience with it? Quality issues? Is it a PITA to install?

Genright and Aberle both make aluminum bumpers. If you get them without the hoops they look pretty decent. The Aberle front bumper weighs just over 60 lbs. I've never seen a published weight for Genright (must be a secret).
