Gollies, I run 5.13's, but they're in my F-550 pulling 40,000 lb loads, not my Jeep!

The new 3.6L loves to rev, with redline at 6,400 rpm so it mates well with taller gears.

Fred, Good to hear you're liking the new drivetrain. What has your mileage looked like so far? Did Hoyte end up treating you right? Thanks, JP

Around 16 to 16.5 mpg. But then these tires I use easilly cost 2 mpg by themselves. For comparison, same tires/wheels on the 2011 Rubicon... I only got around 14.5 mpg average. So clearly 2 mpg better. I also hear that the 3.6L needs about 5,000 miles to get broken in also, so perhaps better to come. I have a habit of driving 80+ mph on the roads, so my driving habits do not help.

Yes, Hoyte is top notch. There's a Jeep dealer here in Waco (20 miles away from me) that I drive by to get to Hoyte (200 miles away from me).

Yep,,, those Nitto's are heavy tires. But they sure look and work well. I live in hilly country and I average 13.5 MPG and I blame the tires alot for that.

I would rather see other significant changes to wranglers. a small increase in hp doesn't get it for me..
try...way better shocks, ball joints, an up graded front axle that dosent need gussets/sleeves and adj track bars...
the hp is just not enough. !!!

Confirmed. Rugged Ridge XHD front and rear bumpers do fit the 2012. I'm at the dealer now and they just completed transferring the bumpers over from my '08 Sport. I was told there were no problems but the front took them longer than expected. Don't know what they did, if anything to get the front bumper to fit but it's on and getting lots of attention around the shop right now. Waiting for the protection package to be installed and will be out of here! Woohoo!

I ordered the connectivity group with the 730 nav. From what I read, you need the connectivity group for all the phone stuff (unconnect) to work with the 730n.
