OK here is another crazy dealer, but Carl Burger Dodge/Jeep down here in San Diego area has two loaded white 4-door Rubi's on the lot for $10,000 over the $34,000 MSRP.... Yes, that's right $44,000 for a new Unlimited Rubicon! I talked to them but they won't budge. So I went down the road and got the same loaded Rubi for MSRP of $32,000. Still more than most of you here on the board paid but I needed to get out of a lease so I'm happy just to have one.

What kind of crazy world is Southern California (or all of california for that matter)? Where does all this money come from? I've compared house prices in Cali to here in Michigan and it is insane. I don't know how anyone can afford to live there.

I'm impressed that people do! Off topic I know... but just had to ask.

Because people make alot more money to do the same jobs as other places in the U.S. The cost of living in SoCal is just alot higher....

lies! when i moved from california late last year, we stopped in LA to see an old friend. as we were leaving LA on our way to LV, looking through the rear view, the whole sky was a big smoggy haze that didn't clear up for like another hour or so. days later camping at the grand canyon, breathing the air there made us high after a year and a half in california :/
