So I was being a bad little JK-Forum member and was lookin around some other forums and stumbled onto This and was wondering if anyone (like a dealer) had heard this to confirm or deny?

 

I dont know how well they are or aren't selling overseas but with the backlog of orders they have here.. the diesel WON'T be coming because of a lack of sales, or the fact that they are selling so well overseas... There is a fine line that dcx is walking right now with orders/wait time... if you add another thing into the mix, they will lose customers to other manufacturers because who wants to wait 5+ months to get a new vehicle? All of this is just my .02, and Im certainly not "in the know"...

Dont get me wrong theres good tech on that forum, You just got to weed all BS out. I cant see some dealer knowing that kind of inside info and We havent heard this from any other source yet.

 

well what is the typical timeframe for DC to release info for the upcoming model year?

 

The link doesn't work for me, but I presume this is in regards to the CRD. I JUST talked to a friend of mine who has been a rep for DCX for a while and he said he's heard nothing about it. He also added that it's pretty much 'plug-n-play' so they could add it right away at anytime.

 

There was a pretty heated argument brewing in that thread so I'm guessing the mods deleted the thread
