Idaho,

Your avatar is hilarious. Young Frankenstein is one of my favorite movies of all time..

I called earlier today to file a complaint with Quadratec. Didn't offer me any 'swag', free shipping discounts, etc.... Any time I've had issues with other companies, they always send me free 'swag' without even asking. Not that I expect things for free, I don't at all, but it says a lot about a business that goes the extra mile to EARN my business.

Call ahead to see if its in stock. Do your homework. If you ask for something from q-tec for Christmas than tell that person to call and ask. Not worth a bashing IMO. There are many things to bash vendors for and this isn't one. Sorry

Quadratec is usually my first choice unless its a custom build. You want frustration, go to 4wp, they brag about being Jeep specialists but ain't got shit in stock.

My experience with building Jeeps, Land rovers and Volvos is that you have to confirm with the seller about the availability of any product before ordering.... Especially online.

I use Quadratec all the time never ever had any bad issues what so ever. I receive my orders within 3-4 business days. Sucks to hear you such a bad experience with them.

I'v ordered stuff from quadratec and never had any problems. My parents who live in New Hampshire ordered me some stuff for christmas from them too and no problems. Unfortunately I hate to say this but some people just cant understand that shit takes time to make or get into the warehouse. I had to wait a month to get my Bumper from LOD but I did not post a thread about how it was taking so long I just called them a few times to see how it was going Chris from LOD is a good guy I got my bumper and could not be happier.

I think one of the points the OP was trying to make is that you shouldn't have to find out AFTER you've already placed an online order that the item is back-ordered. Yeah, stuff takes time but at least let the buyer know before the order is placed. THAT'S what vendors need to understand.
