Default Battery under warranty?

I would think that the battery would be exempt from warranty, but dont know for sure. Has anyone had a battery replaced under warranty or been told it is not covered. I have a 2005 unlimited with 37k.

2005??? Probably not. batteries typically fall along with brakes/clutch and wiperblades. If it was under 10k, you might have a case, at 37k, probably not. batteries have a typical life of 3-5 years, more if you are really lucky...My 2002 Dakota had it's battery last 7 years WOO! Wife 2004 GC, it lasted 5 years. My old
'95 YJ ate a battery every 2 years...

My battery was replaced under warranty. Not sure of the mileage but I am pretty sure it was well past 12k miles. (Mine's an '07)

I wouldnt bother having it warrantied.. go Optima.

For me, anytime anything goes that the aftermarket makes better, I go aftermarket.. Waiting on my transfer case to go want an Atlas
