I responded to this link and ordered 3 skid plates. The thread represents that they have excess merchandise and are overstocked. Benchmark took my $$$ immediately on Feb 8. The tracking numbers sent to me by FedEX indicate that the items have not even been picked up.

I am VERY disappointed that the skid plates never arrived and after numerous attempts to contact this company by telephone, email, and Instant Messaging......they have not responded. I even encouraged them to just CONTACT me to avoid a disparaging thread describing my experience with their company.

I have been forced to open a dispute with PayPal to recover my money due to this companies inability to even contact me to let me know what is going on.

I realize that others on this forum have ordered from this company, apparently without incident. However, my experience has not been positive and i feel it is my obligation to pass this information along to other JK-Forum members

Mine finally got picked up today by fedex. I had the same thing happen to me, as far as getting the tracking number email and it just sitting. They are just very slow in shipping things out it would appear.

I don't mind slow......if someone just keeps me informed.

Yup, I give them D- or F on communications, but then suddenly their product ships. I waited for quite a bit for my Evap Skid, but it was built well and it sure takes a pounding.

This is really unfortunate because Benchmark appears to have great products. However, what's more important to me is good customer service. I positively won't buy their products, no matter how good they are, until they step up and I start reading positive reviews from other forum members.

I agree with everything that has been said. I have several products form Benchmark, and I am totally satisfied with them all. However, my bumper came with bad powder coating, and I had to take it back off and have it Line-X'd, and they did reimburse me for half the cost. I ordered the Evap skid, as they stated they had an over stock, but it took 2-1/2 weeks for me to ever see it hit my house. In the meantime, I had sent innmerable e-mails and private messages to John, and most of them went unanswered. I don't know why they have this communication problem, as I am like the rest of you, I can wait, if someone just tells me the truth as to what the status of my parts are. Great products, poor sales approach.

i recommend you buy nothing from benchmark. lets leave it at that. stay away.
