Default Best Mod Ever! (your opinion)

There is probably a thread or two (or much more) on this topic but...

What do you consider is the best single modification that can be made to a JK. Some suggestions might be:
  • Lift
  • Skids
  • Bigger wheels and/or tires
  • Recovery (winch)
  • Engine mod (CAI, Exhaust, etc)
  • Interior comforts
  • Custom paint
  • The fact it has YOUR license plate on it
To start this off, I've done several modifications but the best so far is... well, it's kinda hard to decide. I guess if I had to vote it would be the winch since it includes an air compressor (Warn PowerPlant).

Your turn...

I'm torn between larger wheels and tires and a good front bumper with winch.

winch (if the solenoid wasn't out)... big tires and lift still can get stuck. winch should be there to help.

hmmmmmm This is a tough one. I have been really happy with every mod I have done so far. But if I have to choose, It is a tie between the u-connect kit for the MYgig and my upgraded front suspension.

My wife and I both love having the u-connect working now. Its just so damn convenient!! I know if I asked her, that would have her vote.

I m also very happy since I added front adj arms, trackbar and HD coils. It really improved the way our jeep handles. Eventhough my wife swears she cant notice a difference. Except "its higher!" (so now Im buying riverraider sliders to give her a "step" ) And I know damn well she can notice the difference, she is just messing with my mind

But I know the mod Im gonna love the most when it finally happens.............35's and a regear!!!!

I gotta go with the free stuff. Drilled mirrors....flipped mirror....the large cup holder thing......that kinda stuff. It takes real ingenuity to figure the little stuff out. I mean what's in buying stuff other than makin the decision?

The correct answer is, "there is no single mod that is best." It is a combination of modifications that make your Jeep look better and perform better.

That's like asking who's got the best wife.

There is no one right answer for everyone.

My view...the best mod is one that makes the jeep able to do want you need it to, that it could not do before.

Bilstein shocks, remove plastic air dam and replace with Skidrow front skid plate...BFG KM2 on stock Rubi wheels (no lift needed with 285x70x17 tyres), and replace steering stabilizer with a Fox Racing one; with exception of the tyres, the other mods are relatively inexpensive and a huge improvement over OEM.
