Default Easy to make, use, stow & lock

Here is my Hi-Lift installation, out of the way, readily available, and lockable! (and easy to make)

very slick and professional looking, also adds a bit more heft as a battering ram!

I built my mounts for rear roll cage myself a lot cheaper than buying them. First I tested a couple ideas with cardboard, After testing a couple ideas I found what looked the best and work best then cut them out of 1/8" steel. ( should have made them out of at least 1/4") With just a ball peen hammer and a vice I bent them how I need them to be bent i cut a slot in the one bracket to allow a bit of slack (I really just wasn't sure where the jack might sit) then drilled 3/8 holes and filed them square to except the carriage bolts. After that u took four 2 1/4" exhaust clamps drilled holes in the center of each clamp bracket and filed them to fit a slightly modified plow bolt to bolt the months on to the frame. By modified I mean I ground two sides of the head flat to fit down in the clamp bracket and hold it in place. After making sure it was at least somewhat level in there I tightened the clamps to the bars first then placed the mounts in and bolted them to the clamps put the jack on and bolted it up

The clamps I used and the plow bolts I used to attach the mounts to them, still haven't made up my mind on cutting a slot in the cover so I can do the zipper up again scared it might fray and become a huge mess

I made a mount and attached it to body mount on bottom. And used a old mirror relocation mount on top that I modified.

eBay hood mount, I like it because you can add a pad lock. I added a piece of aluminum flat bar to the hood mounts and added some platinum burner lights.

Took me a while to find this thread....I've been lookin around trying to find a way to mount my hi lift jack onto the side of my jeep under the A-pillar, I found an 80 dollar bracket online but then I came across a few people in this thread that have it mounted like that, was wondering if I could get some input, maybe a quick write up, and pictures. Thank you so much in advance, I appreciate it. Here's the mount I'm talking about
