Default the BIGGEST WTF

ok so i got the drake off road aluminum locking fuel cap, and it worked great, but a few days ago it became hard to get the kep all the way in the lock and today it wouldnt go in at all, so basically i have a half tank and my gas cap wont come off, im beyond pist and have no clue what to do, any ideas????

haha but then thats 65 bucks down the drain, then again i guess i dont have a choice, im def sendin drake offroad a nice lil message, lol when it wouldnt come off at the gas station i was about to flip shit

Send it back and say this thing caused me more than one problem and this is the last one. With a empty envelope write instructions as follows: Replacement gas cap insert here, Postage required.

Before you drill through the lock, see if you can spray a little WD40 in there to loosen up the tumbler. You might be able to save yourself some hassle. Just a thought.

Yeah try that first my idea seems a lot more drastic. If the WD40 doesn't work then drill straight through it.

yea wd40 sounds good, the drill will be a last resort, lol honestly i find it kinda funny i cant even put gas in my jeep, how screwed am i lol

I read a lot of comments saying to drill through the gas cap and that would have been my first idea but now that I think of it, wouldn't this run the possibility of getting shavings of metal and what not in the gas tank? I know there's a filter but could this have any adverse effect? Just wondering...
