Your in Philly so its probably cold as balls right now. Im in Allentown and my phone is telling me its 15 (F) outside right now. Try putting some of that antilocking stuff in the lock. The stuff that you would use for your car door for ice. I bet moisture got in there and locked that up tight.

Oh and definitely call the company and telling them you want your money back. There are a couple of threads on here about the worst purchases for the jeep and I think that one is on there.

LpS lube works better on locks than WD-40. It is a greasless lube that won't collect dirt over time like WD-40 will.

That used to happen to me with my old tj. I'd just put the key in... turn the cap to where it started being fussy... and then grap the entire cap (not just the free spinning part) and give it a good twist..... usually came right off.
