Bikini tops & rain, damage?
The soft top I ordered (trektop) wont be here till august and it's too hot to keep the top on
Anyone know if there's a damage risk with a bikini top and light rain?
Something like a Safari Header Bikini + duster
Our previous jeeps had no carpet or radio's, so I really did not care if they got soaked by rain. But these jk's are quite a bit more complicated on the electrical side

I have my top on but no doors and no windows and its been soaked and i mean soaked on the dash before and its been in 3 storms with no top on and everything still works like a charm.
I have had mine for about a year and half with aftermarket speakers and cd deck and no problems.
I think a bikini would be all that you need.

I ran our mesh bikini top a few times through rain storms.....Everything got soaked......but after the storm and driving at highway speeds the wind blowing through the JK dried everything up except the carpets.....I just pulled the carpets out and pulled the plugs!
