IMO....I think they looks nice...

You should put an "MEV" or "Manitoba Expedition Vehicle" sticker somewhere on your rig....

Good choice matching the wheels to the grill. I think it would have looked weird if the wheels were black and the grill polished... Vice Versa!!

I have a black Jeep too. I've wanted to do grill inserts as well, but I can't decide between silver/chrome and black either. I really don't want silver/chrome, but I'm afraid black would make it lose the look of the Jeep grill. So I haven't done anything. If I still had my silver Jeep, the choice would be easy--I'd get black. I wish someone would come out with a mesh grill that's kind of a brushed titanium look or even a pewter or something. Something not shiny, but that would still provide a little contrast.

Maybe a flat or satin finish of the black could be a nice subtle contrast?

Do a primer gray.... Or a flat color that contrasts the black. Nothing super shiny or chrome. Def. Don't do black on black. Maybe bedline it an contrasting color with some spray on bed liner from the parts store lots can colors these days... Cheap to, like $8.00 and up.

The insert was the first thing I did to my jeep. It is a wire mesh that was already painted black when I received it and it does a great job of protecting my radiator

This is my jeep before the lift and the new bumper and moving the lights closer to the middle. As you can see I do have some Crome but very little and I like the way my jeep looks
