just a update no the damage is not covered by warrnty the axle cost $220 from mopar but their are only two of the drivers side axels at dealerships in the country according to my dealer and they dont know when the part will be in and it was 65 outside today and muddy

Very disapointing that the Warranty wouldn't cover it. My plan is to upgrade when certain things break. I say go with the Superior ones then egg the GM of that dealerships house.

What was their reasoning for not covering this under warranty?

because it was not due to age and i abused or something like that i have only 1168miles on it

i was hopeing that it would be covered by my warrenty and it is winter and i dont have a garage if it was spring i would have done it my self and i just had it towed to the dealership right after the tow truck got it out of the hole i was in

The dealer told you you abused your Jeep? What did you tell them about breaking the part?

My axle looked exactly like that, and dealership fixed under warranty, no hassle at all. Parts were back ordered for almost 2 weeks though.

nothing i droped it off at night and it was covered in mud and im 19 and the axle loked like this heres a new pic of it stuck this is the drivers side the othe side of my jk was resting on the axle tube in the front and rear with the tire almost completly underwater
