Default Broken Into.... again

With the windows all zippered out including the front windows ( 1/2 doors) some a$$ decides to go through the Jeep. It was in a parking lot parked in a well lit area all day (10am-11pm).

I leave almost nothing in the Jeep. They did take my insurance and registration, as well as my ownership manual.
They left my cb, antenna, winch control, my huge flash light and shovel.

The worst part about it, they left my interior lights on and killed my battery, so after my wife waits for the cops to come by and files a report they tell her all they can do is call a tow truck.

Luckily I hadn't a thing to drink that evening and was able to meet her and give her a boost.

This isn't the first time, it won't be the last, but I hate when idiots mess with my Jeep.

Keep a good eye on your house. A lot of criminals care nothing about what's in your car these days. They break in, look at your gps to see where home is or your registration and then they go burglarize your house. A lot of them do it without you even knowing someone broke into your car.

That sucks man!

I have half-doors too and always leave pretty much nothing in it but never think anyone would take my owner's manual. What the hell do you get out of that!

Hope you get that thing recharged and rolling again!

I have nothing in my jeep when I'm rolling naked or even with a hard top, I keep my insurance and registration tucked in the roll bar, I also throw in a broken charger in the glove box and some random papers and a few toys

People are a$$holes!! I have my loose change and a USB charger taken this past weekend from a target parking lot. I would make sure you keep an eye on your house. I've heard of people's registration and garage door remotes stolen from cars. Then they come to your house during the day and basically walk in through you garage...

Thanks guys, The cops mentioned to keep an eye on the house as well. My "house" is a condo with no garage so they will actually have to break in here. Still no clue why they took my owners manual.

You wouldn't, you're not the criminal mastermind. Thieves aren't endowed with the best intellect, they probably think the manual was a good place to store the registration or something like that. When I was much younger my parents had their vehicle broke into and my mother's purse was taken. Three days later I was home alone and heard the door being messed with and chills ran down my neck. I pulled the shotgun out of a nearby closet and racked a round in it which scared off who ever it was. They left my mother's keys so it's safe to say it was the same person who took them from the vehicle. They never tried as long as we lived there that we know of.

That's terrible! Makes me so paranoid about leaving mine for long periods of time with the soft top on

Even with the hard top on I use my Tuffy under seat drawer for papers along with various protection.

I have the tuffy security deck on the back of mine. Everything is locked in the back. And once I lock it with the key after 15 seconds I need the key to unlock it. Best money I spent so far.
