Default Bummer: Jeep Wrangler Black Edition II Only for Europe

To keep with the tradition of offering Europeans some good old-fashioned America-ness, Jeep is launching what they call the Black Edition II series.

If it's a black edition, shouldn't it be blacked out, not silver?
Seriously though, I wish we could get a diesel here in America.

Default different bumper

I wonder how does the front bumper of this European edition look to everyone?
I here in Korea got a 2015 rubicon, my bumper is same with that. (2.8 crd too )
Personally I prefer US version bumper which looks more wildlife-friendly, but it costs a lot to have it here.
Apart from the personal tastes, I'd really want to know the reason of those bumpers being designed differently.
Anyone knows about this in detail?

I think it's some European regulation where the fenders have to completely cover the wheels. Can't imagine why though...

I think it's a technicality as the law reads. As you said, it has to completely cover the tires so the bumper was integrated to fill the gap between the bumper and fender. I imagine the reason the law is written that was is to prevent debris and junk to be thrown around. The wheel well on a normal vehicle would contain it. I makes sense in a way. I was traveling down I-81 Saturday when a mobile home hit a trash bag and trash went everywhere right in front of me. Luckily, I avoided it all, no thanks to the Ferrari-esque handling of the Jeep Wrangler
