I Just Bought A 2007 Sahara Jk 6 Speed Manual And Trying To Find Reverse Is A Nightmare, Is There A Trick To It That I Need To Know? Has Anyone Else Has Expirienced This Or Do I Need To Carry It Back To The Dealership?

I have a 6 speed and have no trouble with reverse. Maybe your shift linkage is messed up?

I had a six speed 08 up till last week...They make Rev just a lil bit harder to get to so you cant pop it in there by accident when your hitting that 6th gear.

When your are centered in neutral..you will push your shifter to the right...very little pressure..it will stop...at that point you have to add about 1-2 poinds of pressure..still pushing right and you will feel it give way into the reverse channel..when it gives, pull down. I was accidentally always putting mine in 6th gear by accident.

Hope this helps. plus with them being new..the linkages are a little bit stiff.

I struggled with mine at first, but now it's easy to find. I doubt there's anything wrong. The previous post best describes how you find it. If you start to pull down to soon you will be in 6th gear.

All the way to the right and down... It might sound funny but sometimes putting in a forward gear and letting out the cluth just enough to roll a bit, and then going directly to reverse will also help.
