at least we are getting some service from our american friends 'cause dc canada ain't tellin us crap
i just can't believe that a company of this size won't copme straight out and tell us the truth and what is happing to our orders and what to expect
this is my 5th new jeep and i really want it,but i will never ,but never go through this again!!!!!!

You got a status update from DC US? Count yourself lucky. They usually turn away all Canadians. For my order, DC US tells me it's not in their system, and DC Canada tells me they don't have access to _any_ order info, they only handle warranty issues. So, I gotta wonder - who has access to these orders? Maybe that's why they're not getting into production!

did you get a vehicle order # from your dealer?
if so,just use that when you call the states.i never had a problem with them.
they will even give you a ref.#

I tried to just give them my VON# but when they ask me for my address and I tell them and they realize I'm in Canada they say "I'm sorry, I cannot look up your order as you are in Canada and I can only look up US orders". Then they basically hang up! What the heck is going on that some people can get status updates from Canada and some cant lol This sucks. Hopefully my new connection at headoffice I just found out I have will find out what's going on tomorrow. As for the bbb stuff. My problem is more with my dealership then with DC (even though I hate them too right now) The guys at the dealership aren't even looking up the codes anymore to see what my status is. They just say "I dunno know". So you're lucky if your dealership's been good to you!!

when you look at it i guess we're just gluttons for punishment
either that or we're just nuts
still can't believe whats going on
i'm really starting to think the next 4door sahara i'll be seeing is going to be a 2008.
if noty i'll just be pleasantly shocked

Default My Jeep is on it's way!!

I just found out today that my Jeep is shipped and on its way. Dealer said that it should be here in a couple of weeks.

Well good luck to you....mine was shipped from the Factory March 26/07...hmmm...and guess what i am still waiting!...And i talked to those useless folks at DC Canada...they are sit ting in windsor ontario, exactly where my Jeep has been for a month..and they can not tell me anything why is has not moved yet....told me to contact my dealer....my dealer told me to contact calgary distribution..and calgary distribution told me they do not know, and told me to contact DC canada....gotta love the run around!!!

Default Got My Jeep!!!!!! Finally!!!

hey all!!!! GOT MY JEEP. Some nice people and fellow jeepers here in Canada saw my cries for help and had the dealership they work at do a search and guess what??!! THEY FOUND THE EXACT JEEP I ORDERED BACK IN NOVEMBER ON A LOT!! It has all of the same options that I ordered, only difference is kahki interior instead of the slate grey I ordered. No big deal I'll suck it up. I'm picking it up tomorrow!!!! Finally 5 months later. The dealership that helped me told me too that if I didn't take this one they found, and I wasn't given a vin tomorrow then my order wouldn't get picked up until the 08's start in July! All my dealership kept telling me was that it was a "good order". No kidding. They didn't seem to understand i wasn't doubting that it was a good order, I just can't wait another 5 months without a vehicle! I can't believe they didn't see this jeep in the system! lazy or what, you'd think they would have been searching their butts off to get rid of me and my weekly phone call. But no, it took some fellow jeepers to help out. Good luck to everyone in Canada waiting on their order. DC Canada is useless don't waste your breath with them. Hurray! Tomorrow I finally get to drive my jeep!

Hmmm so does this mean if I have an order number but no VIN yet (BX status I think it is)... that I won't be getting an '07??? I refuse to wait another several months before they even start building '08's!

If that's the case... time to get in touch with my lawyer! (special circumstances around my deal)
