Question Canadians--ordering experiences from US?

I'm getting ready to order my teraflex bb and wheel spacers from either Quadratec or Northridge. Thing is, its all gotta get shipped to BC, Canada. Any other Canadians have experiences ordering parts out of the US? How long did shipping take? Experiences with customs? Do you know of any good Canadian distributers that offer these parts?

We ship to Canada almost every day not sure what you have to pay on your end but i think it is duty and GST and you have to have money when ups shows up or they will not deliver the product.

We handle all the customs paperwork here.

UPS is the worst !!!!! I bought a trail cover on Ebay ( $120 + $15.00 for shipping) and UPS charged me $60 for brokerage fee. If you ship it with USPS, once at the border, Canada post only charge you $5.00 for the same fee. Check the link below about a class action against UPS.....

so always check with the seller before ordering and if the only offer UPS or Fedex I wouldn't buy it...... only my 2 cents......

I agree with you about UPS. Avoid if at all possible. I was going to order something from the US that came out to around $15.00 but the shipping through UPS was going to be around $60.00. I have had things shipped to people in the US that I know and gotten them to send the item to me. Much cheaper.

ya, I've heard that before about UPS, its stupid really. Northridge, who do you ship through? Can you give an estimate on how much the total shipped price would be? I know some companies use a third party like "Borderfree" to organize everything. Man, don't you love how free trade makes it all so easy .Damnit, and I still can't access my PMs!
