Default cb antenna cable

I ordered a cb and Firestick. I connected the cable to the antenna and routed it to the front of the vehicle. The end that connects to the cb control box is just a wire and I have the connector seperate. How do I put the end on to plug it in. I'm sure it didnt come pre installed that way the wire was easier to run. Thanks .

Your cable is messed up then. The coax should be the same on both sides. Plug and play. One end goes to the antenna mount the other right in the cb. No extra bits and pieces

I don't think the cable is messed up as it came with a hardware kit to put the end on after the coax was routed through the jeep.

I would not have been able to route the coax through the tailgate if the end had already been installed. I just some direction on how to put this together.

Cool. I guess I missed instructions for a ground. It just runs from the bottom bolt on the antenna mount to where on the inside?
