Anybody have instructions and/or pictures on how to remove the center console? I need to route some wires to the back.

 

why not run them under the carpets?

 

I may. I just have some stereo cables to run to the back, and wanted to know my options. I thought the center console would be the route to go. Otherwise it may be behind the dash, along the passenger side foot well

 

I was looking into putting some switches into the console, but couldn't figure out how to get the parking brake handle off. There are 4 bolts holding the console onto the brackets, but without removing the parking brake handle, I coun't get the console completely out. It worked out OK for me because I was able to put them in the lower dash console. If it were me, I would run them down the passenger side with the rest of the wiring harness. Good luck.

Eh, I was talking about the middle center console (with the cupholders) not the center stack, as in that thread. Thanks anyways though.

Anyways, in other news, I just ran my wires along the passenger side of the vehicle with the brake light wiring.
