I highly doubt you'll get one. I would drop it, or wait for an 08.

 

Not that anyone cares, but confirming the wait time: factory to rail yard < rail yard to dealer.

Still no jeep...despite it being at the railyard 7 days ago. Pretty retarded.


Edit: Had my dealer call the transport company, and they've "marked my vehicle hot" - so hopefully it will make it up there this week (with 3 other vehicles scheduled for delivery), but the problem is they have 500 vehicles more than their normal load and therefore are backed up by weeks....thats a lot of transport trucks worth of vehicles. And this is just Oklahoma City....

Does anyone know how to get the information that contains schedualed times for each city that the train is to arrive in? I was told by the DC customer line today that my order is also held up due to MyGig. Still debating whether or not to cancel. I waited through Feb for the half-doors partnum to become available, then they put in my order in late March.

 

They don't provide that information. You simply have to check it a lot to find out where it is and where it's going.

 

I just called and went through all the hoops via the voicemails etc. They called my dealer for me and got the reference # and she came back on and said It is currently in JS. I looked on the forum code breaker and that says shipped to storage? What does that mean. is it built? why is it shipping to storage instead of me?

I'll pick it up this afternoon. Now I just gotta hope theres no tornados or hail to deal with on the drive back, since its 100 miles away.

 

The day after mine arrived at the rail station, as per our normal luck, we had one heck of a storm with hail (yes, it does storm here every few years or so).

So much so that I actually have photos of the hail in our back yard!

Of course, first thoughts were that our new baby would have all sorts of little hail marks but somehow - they didn't unload it for a couple of days. The only time I remember being happy of the delay!

Mine took a bit longer to get here but it hit the dealership this morning. They have a couple days of prep and I will be picking it up on Friday.

I am soooooo excited, cant wait to take it out on Saturday and get it all dirty.

 

Talked to my dealer last Week. According to him all Wranglers have been built out for this month. The only Wrangler that's getting any cycles for the rest of the month is the 4x2 X. *sigh* Guess I'll call DC back next week.
