yay, I called and my jeep is on its way. I hope it will be here this week. To my luck it seems michigan my be shutting down its government (lol) so i hope this wont hold back my jeep registration too long.

I sold my old Jeep last weekend (91, 5.5 inches on 33's, but 185,000 miles) and went today and ordered a new Rubicon (2dr, yellow, tow, 6 disc). The dealer that I ordered it from said he would be able to get me a Jeep for about $600 cheaper (27,590 OTD for the one I ordered) if I ordered one instead of picking one up off the lot. He also told me that I should get it in 2-3 months, but that it could be as early as 45 days. Are these wait times completely out of the questiong? I wish I would have seen this website earlier, I might have paid the extra money to get one sooner.

Folks, it's been fun reading.. (and re-reading, depending on the question).
Yesterday, I picked up my Black Sahara Unlimited. It had 4 miles on it, today, 14.

well i am still waiting for the call from dealer also. i am about 5 hours from toledo and my jeep has been on the road for a couple days now. i wish it would have been this week and not next. i am working 12 hour days next week and might not have the time to pick it up when it comes in. then again i do have some vacation and personal time to blow.

Okay while I like mine dealership, my salesman is pretty slow.
He call me up and was happy to tell me my Jeep was going to be delivered on Oct 9th. I said that sounded great but, per Corp 800# the est. ship date is the 9th. He said nope to be delivered on the 9th. I call corp. back and they confirmed it is being shipped not delivered on the 9th.
So either my salesman has some great inside info or I will be receiving mine near the end-of-month.
I hate being teased
