Chrysler may sell or close MOPAR?
I really hope they new owner doesn't do this.

Sounds like Mopar would still exist, just under different working arrangements. If another company can house and ship the parts cheaper than Chrysler itself can, why not do it? In my limited experience with Mopar and their shipping practices, they can stand some improvement. My Rubicon front axle arrived at the dealer damaged and had to be shipped back and replaced. When the 2nd one arrived, both ABS wires were damaged and the stabilizer bracket was bent. The dealership was tired of dealing with Mopar so they just bought and installed the new sensor wires and I adjusted the bracket. Maybe this could be a good thing...

If Chrysler killed the MoPar line, they would also be killing a HUGE fan base surrounding the auto maker as well as a name associated with their products. what the new management at Chrysler should do, is redesign the division that Daimler nearly depleted.
MoPar used to be noted for QUALITY parts.
I for one would be devastated if they drop the line.
